As a father who happens to be the pastor / teacher, I would answer yes to that question. However, I along with an increasing number of Christians, are wanting to explore different ways of being and doing church. 

We are wanting church life and ministry that might more effectively: 

• Integrate the family into the worship and mission of the church. 
• Teach us clearly how to love one another. 
• Teach us how to study and apply God’s Word. 
• Teach us how to share our faith with the lost in meekness and gentleness.
• Be committed to spiritual growth in Christ more than numerical growth. 

Teach men how to be accountable and responsible leaders in church and home and structure church life on the assumption that: 

• By God's grace, men will step up to the plate and create a church culture where our children are helped to mature, learn, and serve. 
• By God’s grace, men will model Christianity to their families for trans-generational impact. 

Pursuing such desires will take: 

• Much prayer 
• Complete honesty 
• Faith to change our thinking and methodology
